I went to the Fillmore East as we often did back then and had a $5.50 RD row center seat to see Santana. Little did I know that the opening band that night
would change my life. TOP came out to open the show and I have been in awe ever since. Following them through all the personnel changes in the 80's was
great. They made a second home at the Bottom Line in the Village which for those who are not familiar with this venue (unfortunately shut down by NYU) was a
4-500 seat club where a lot of major musicians would show up and jam with the Tower. There is not a band I will miss as much as TOP when they finally decide
to call it a day which I hope is not for quite a while. Thank you Brian for all the work you put into this site and to all the TOP fans who continually flock
to their shows. All the best, Andy
